When we decided to fulfil our dream of being in Tuscany and arrange gastronomic journeys for like-minded food enthusiasts as ourselves, we luckily found Ryan!
Ryan is an incredible chef who knows the Italian kitchen inside-out. He has acquired great abilities from his experience in restaurants, which is strongly supported by knowledge of the authentic Tuscan kitchen, largely thanks to his mother-in-law.
Ryan Hanley is 34 years old and originally from the U.S.A. He has worked there for three years in a popular Italian restaurant followed by one year in a Mediterranean restaurant.
Ryan looked upon that experience as a kind of apprenticeship. Soon after that, Ryan moved to California in order to join culinary academy where he trained to be a chef.
He was given an opportunity to go to Florence to work in a
Tuscan restaurant called Malbroghetto. During his time there, he broaden his spectrum of knowledge in the Italian cuisine and learnt the processes involved in creating fantastic representations of that cuisine.
Ryan graduated from the academy and stayed in America to help a friend set up a Mediterranean restaurant. But he quickly returned to Italy, where he has lived and worked for the past nine years, accompanied by his Italian wife and their two daughters.

N.B. – The classes will be held in English with a Danish translator if required. The group of people will never be larger than 10 persons, because we want to ensure that everybody gets the most out of the course, and has the opportunity to get to know eachother.
