Dear all,
My name is Ryan Hanley and I love cooking.
If you want to see just how much, then come and join me in my Tuscan kitchen. Side by side we will work to create a fun time cooking the Italian/Tuscan style food that I have loved to cook for many years.
Let me tell you how I got the bug.
My mother was diagnosed with a rare Cancer when I was very young. She could not cook our meals and so I had to. Later as I cooked more and more, for friends as well as family, I was encouraged by comments like ‘This is great, Ryan’ and ‘You should open a restaurant one day’.
I could only get a job at a construction site, but when that ended, I began to ask myself what it was that could really make me happy. I knew I loved food and cooking it. More than that, I loved the comments eating my food would draw from so many people.
I wanted to wake up every day and look forward to the day ahead and the next and the next and the next. Indeed every day for the rest of my life.
Well, the rest is history- as they say.
From the California Culinary academy, to the nine years I have been in Tuscany – cooking, creating and recreating traditional Tuscan food.
Now I look forward to the opportunity to show you how.
